The challenge
The importer was juggling separate Chinese suppliers, a freight forwarder in Shanghai, a customs agent in Karachi and a trucker for the inland leg. Landed cost estimates were often wrong, and dangerous-goods documentation slowed clearance.
Our approach
- Consolidated FCL bookings out of Shanghai with dangerous-goods handling where required
- Landed-cost sheet issued before each shipment, based on HS codes and current duty/tax rates
- WeBOC import GD filed pre-arrival at Port Qasim with pre-paid duty and sales tax
