The challenge

The client was losing time and cash to L/C document discrepancies at their negotiating bank and to unclaimed duty drawback. They also wanted one partner to handle both urgent air replenishments and larger monthly sea freight shipments.

Our approach

  • Standardised L/C-compliant invoice, packing list and B/L / AWB templates reviewed per shipment
  • Form-E and WeBOC export GD filing coordinated with the client's negotiating bank
  • Weekly air freight from SKT/KHI to JFK plus monthly FCL sea shipments from KICT to LAX
  • Duty drawback and DTRE filings prepared and tracked with FBR

The outcome

Over 12 months the client shipped 52 weekly consignments with zero document discrepancies at bank negotiation. Duty drawback recoveries added roughly 6% back to the margin on eligible SKUs, and the finance team gained a single reconciliation partner instead of three.

“For the first time in years our bank stopped calling us about document errors. That alone paid for the partnership.”
